Naruto movie, The lost tower

Naruto, The lost tower , takes place back in time when the usual stupid shit like “Space-time jutsu” or some random “Time-traveling jutsu” occur and somehow it cannot be reverse simply by re-doing the jutsu. Because ONLY the bad guy knows it, some how. Naruto and supposedly Captain Yamato goes back in time to kick ass.

Anyway , go read ANN’s description of this, i fear my version is highly inaccurate. What i really like about this is that, 4th Hokage has more screen time. In fact, naruto as a character is nice and naruto as a story as itself is also not bad. But I’m really just interested in the time line that occurs before naruto was born, i.e., Kakashi’s childhood , 3rd Hokage early days and you know when the current old farts were still young. Because things were more brutal. Is not to say now isn’t , i mean Nagato is pretty kick ass and especially the manga, the freaking United Ninja-samurai alliance vs the clone army, snake face and stupid mask. I highly doubt it can beat the great ninja war. But i don’t know, i haven’t really follow naruto that closely.

Well the other thing besides revisiting the past, is Puppets. I like the puppet ninja idea in naruto but this, lets just say the movie director or whoever decided to upscale the power of puppets to a point where instead of being tasteful, i simply hated it. I wish the damn puppet dude called Mukade or something should just quickly get killed or sealed up. Which he did, after dropping into a pool of lava-like-chakara-thingy. Well it was purple.

Also , Naruto has been going on since 1997 and back then when the anime first came out, i only started watching when episode 40 came. Because I been hearing things like “The FIGHTS AWESOME” over and over. That was almost 10 years ago! ok 9 years but dammnit i was just 15ish back then. But i still find naruto enjoyable nonetheless.

Overall, I like the quality of animation in this movie. Is a love/hate thing, some say is too sloppy or what, Personally i think is alright. Yes it can do better but hey, they been going on since 1997, so probably the animation isn’t really the main concern i guess. I’m just not use to doing a damn review. It feels so weird. Is like i’m licking the ass of the movie or something.
