After 2 years of conquest..

So finally after 2 years of conquest i decided to settle down. With a fuck ugly girl called Lady Ruha. She’s the only one with the option to marry to and her dad doesnt hate me like the other vassals and warlords do. Further more now i got a lady in my castle which is stationed in the middle of enemy territories, i hate you Shanjar Khan for doing this to me.

Thats my character with a dumb fuck look. Because i couldnt believe i’m getting married to a ugly lady. I wanted to get Lady Tuan but she rather we elope and that will mean losing my status as a vassal. I have plans to over throw the current king dammnit.

So we danced and probably made out(but the game doesnt show that).

Would you take this lovely daugther of mine as your beloved wife?

“Yes” but I’m thinking fuck no but i had no choice.

Your relationship with Belir Noyan(her dad) , +20 .. 😀 now i have him on my side. I just need to gather more ally to conquer the current King!

Busy campaigning!

Yes you are looking at a screenshot. Yes I am powering my Mount&Blade:Warband via my laptop , specs below

  • Intel T4300, 2.1Ghz
  • Intel GMA 4500M , up to 732 MB DVMT
  • 2 GB ram , DDR2 i assume.
  • 250GB HDD, 5400rpm i assume as well

The best part of this game? I can run in DirectX 7 which means my 2 year old laptop can pretty much crank up a bit more details and not lag. I have to save up and buy a laptop that can game. I would love to get a desktop. But i will hold that thought till i found a stable place to rent. Anyway, I haven’t been that obsessed with a game since Diablo 2. In fact, I been losing sleep over this single player game. It feels like, this game is what I’ve been looking for many many eons. I don’t foresee i will complete this game if ever this game have an ending.

Fire & Sword is coming out by May 4th. – correction – IT IS OUT! 1.2GB worth, downloading through steam as i type this post(probably done and I’m playing when this post comes out) and loving the bundle i bought last week, USD$19.90 for 3 games. Although i highly doubt i will play the original , Mount&Blade. But you never know. Gosh, i can play Fire & Sword(soon!). 😛 sorry Owen_S , TF2 hat will wait till i’m done downloading Fire & Sword first.. Also, until that hat is trade-able i guess. I bought TF2 but never really got into gaming it. I don’t think i will have any time for any game until i get bored of this.. I mean I been playing Killing Floor and so far the past few months i rack up 94hours in total. Mount & Blade?, i got 65 hours clocked since 29th April!. (add another 8hours or more by the time you read it)

Side track a little, I want to talk a little about steam. I never like to buy games firstly i have to take a 40min bus ride into town to get it. Games are never cheap. Expensive isn’t equal to good game as well. So more than often i “try” games out before i buy because buying a game means forgoing 10 meal worth of money. Which I can live without gaming but not 10 meals. So then i rather meet friends and game in Lan shops but really how much hours can you afford? I mean going out and all means spending money on food outside, spending money on this and that. I dont have that much luxury money.

Along comes Steam, This is how gaming should have been. Digital copy of games should be cheap. Why? There’s no need to go through the physical disc production and no need for logistics, Internet “tubes” does all that. There’s no need for additional promotion because gamers on steam will see it. There’s no need to go through that many middle man anymore thus lowering price, i mean by publisher selling games to distributor, selling games to shops, finally I buying that damn game at $60 with a box, a ton of air, a few or one disc, oh not to forget a instruction manual in it. Seriously speaking, if i spend months and months thinking on what game to buy when it was $60, how many games do you think i’ve bought the past decade?. Now factor in steam sales, how much time do you think i need to use if i see a game that i might like for $5? If is on sale , i will buy it within sale timing. If that is the normal price, i will wait for a sale to buy it. Sales happen every week, at least twice!. Having said that, i’ve spent almost USD$200 the past 4-5months through Steam because games can be purchased easily and seamlessly. Now, i do not need to take a bus out, i just need to turn on my laptop, pay, download and Game. However that USD$200 isn’t entirely ALL my spending but i can say right now i have about 20 or so games in my steam. Thats about the amount of games i bought the past 10 years when it was still a CD and “take-bus-to-town” thing. Now in 4-5 months time, i spent less but got more games. Who wins in this case? If you were a game developer, think about it. Would you rather a sale of 1000 units at $60(shop retail) or 100,000 units at $15(steam retail) ?

Gosh i should have make this into a separate post. But doing this post at 2:30am isn’t really helping me much. So i decided to stop here now. Here’s a video to watch , I like the trance/house *insert music* that they use.

I also watched this ,

Damn the Harry potter looks good. Although i must say Deathly Hallow part 1 was fucking boring. Oh Transformer looks good too, pity the lack of Megane fox but wow, Underwear model? More bikini action? I hope so :D, after all, the kids that watch Transformer are all grown up now and we want boobies! Isn’t it ?

I been wanting to watch Madoka but sorry, Mount&blade first. OMG Fire&Sword is done downloading!! (almost 3am)
